Episode 4 - On Writing, Film-making & Why it’s NEVER Too Late

I had so much fun kicking off the second half of Edition 1 by getting to know what motivates Karamell Jones. This Philly based author, playwright, and filmmaker creates stories about everyday situations with a twist.

We discuss how her desire to write came later in life when she was already a grandmother, how sometimes you wake up with the determination to tell a story, how you can start making plays and movies even if you have never done it before with great programs like the 5 Shorts Project, and how your girlfriends can not only support your writing, but star in your movies and make everything tons more fun along the way. Most importantly we underscore how it’s never too late to begin.

“When the student is ready, the teacher will come.”
